Admiral Radley is a California-based indie rock band formed in late 2009.
The band is formed from members of the indie rock bands Grandaddy (Jason Lytle and Aaron Burtch) and Earlimart (Aaron Espinoza and Ariana Murray). Originally the band name was going to be Grandimart or Earlidaddy, a combination of both band's names. However, after a couple bottles of red wine and a strange encounter with a man who addressed himself as only Admiral Radley, they decided on the name Admiral Radley.[1]

Admiral Radley has released one album entitled I Heart California, which was released July 13, 2010, on the label The Ship.
Admiral Radley's "I Heart California.....and the rest of the West Coast” tour ran from July 19–24, 2010. During this tour they played shows in Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, Oregon, San Francisco, and Escalon, California. Their next tour, "I Heart California....and the Midwest/East Coast" ran from August 12–23, 2010. They performed in Minneapolis, Chicago, Cleveland, Toronto, Cambridge, Massachusetts, New York, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia.
